Our Book
Our book was created to inform, support and empower.
Too many Black families are forced to navigate dementia with too little information, too few culturally relevant resources and too little public understanding. We wrote this book to help change that.
This book brings together knowledge, compassion and lived insight to help readers better understand dementia, caregiving, advocacy and the realities Black families face. It is designed for those who want practical guidance, stronger awareness and a voice that feels both informed and deeply human.
About the Book
This book offers clear, thoughtful and accessible insight into dementia and its impact on Black individuals, families and communities. It helps readers better understand what dementia is, how it shows up, why culturally relevant conversations matter and how families can respond with greater knowledge and confidence.
Through information, reflection and practical guidance, the book helps readers feel less alone and better prepared for the journey ahead.
